📖 "The Water Cycle"

📖
Read the passage

The Water Cycle

Water is always moving around our planet in a process called the water cycle. The sun heats water in oceans, lakes, and rivers. This makes water turn into vapour and rise into the sky — a process called evaporation. High in the sky, water vapour cools and forms tiny droplets that make up clouds — this is called condensation. When clouds collect too much water, it falls back to Earth as rain, snow, or hail — called precipitation. The water then flows into rivers, lakes, and oceans, and the cycle begins again. The water cycle keeps our planet supplied with fresh water.
